Share Market Opening: Equity benchmark indices opened on Tuesday on a negative note. The Sensex is up 6.72 points or 0.02% at 35360.80, while the Nifty is lower at 10619.70 by 8.90 points or 0.08%. The market size is positive as 282 shares advanced, compared with a decrease of 135 shares, while 38 shares remained unchanged.

Variation in Sectors: All Nifty sector indexes are traded in red except for the IT and pharmaceutical indices, which increase by ~1%. The Nifty Midcap index is trading flat.

Variation in Scrip: Yes Bank and Sun Pharma are the top winners, while Vedanta, SBI and JSW Steel are the biggest losers.

Rupees variation: The Indian rupee opened flat on Tuesday at 70.89 per dollar versus 70.87.

Wrapping News: Together with shares in Europe and Asia, US stock futures advanced on Monday, as investors looked more optimistically at the outlook for interest rates and trade following another miserable market week.
